Today I took my first trip to a stockyard.
There isn’t much in the way of words to describe it. It’s depressing. It’s sad. It’s unfortunate. It’s a frightening. This was a small one, and thankfully there were no dead piles or downed animals. But there were animals. Many of them. Baby calves….
